Lufthansa Aviation brings together the expertise of around 700 aviation professionals from Technical Fleet Management, Corporate Functions, Planning, and Administration, forming the backbone of reliable operations at Lufthansa City Airlines and Lufthansa CityLine.

Who we are and what we do

As a member of the Lufthansa Group and a wholly owned subsidiary, Lufthansa Aviation launched in December 2025. Through first-class airline management services for Lufthansa City Airlines and Lufthansa CityLine, Lufthansa Aviation enables the operational performance and reliability of both carriers. This is the foundation for efficient and economic intra-European air traffic.

Our focus is on airline management services. Our experts from Technical Fleet Management, Flight Operations, Cabin Operations, Crew Training, Ground Operations, Operations Planning & Steering and Protection Management join forces to deliver excellence.

But that’s not all! We also offer the full range of administrative functions: from Corporate & Commercial, Information Management & Digital Solutions, Human Resources, to Strategy, Business Development, and Culture & Communications—it’s all on board!
