Munich Airport, Hangar 4 - this is where the technical heart of Lufthansa Aviation beats. Our maintenance professionals, engineers, electronics specialists, and project managers are on duty 24/7. Whether there are scheduled maintenance or unexpected technical challenges - we ensure that aircraft are back in the air safely and quickly. Precision, passion, and teamwork form the foundation of flight operations.
An international airline hub is a highly complex organism. Passengers, aircraft and crews are on the move almost around the clock. And right at the center: our colleagues at the HOC. With maximum focus and quick decision-making, they ensure smooth operations - precise, agile, and always one step ahead.
Every flying career starts in the classroom - and we make it exciting. In our modern training center next door to Munich Airport, we prepare tomorrow’s professionals. You’ll find everything here: fully equipped classrooms, realistic mock-ups for service and safety procedures, and spectacular flight simulators. Supported by experienced aviators and project managers with jet fuel in their veins. Knowledge, hands-on practice and passion all within one team.
Here the scent of the big wide world is part of everyday life. “Just got back from Stockholm,” “I can’t wait until my first flight on the Airbus A220,” “See you at the strategy meeting”: These kinds of conversations are typical. We gather in meeting rooms or at the coffee bar, in modern briefing areas, at the brand-new Campus, or focus on the next presentation. Attention aircraft fans - Frankfurt is where the action is! Around the clock, we look after A319/320neo/CRJ900 passenger and A321 freighter jets. And from late 2026, we look forward to welcoming our brand-new A220. The best part: In Hangar 7 we share a space with Lufthansa - so there are always impressive long-haul jets around. Aviation at its best!
